In Her Words

These first-person accounts – oral histories, speeches, letters – are interesting primary sources for learning more about the lives of some of Missouri’s pioneering women in the health sciences. These women were among the first generations of women working as professionals outside the home – their words speak as eloquently as their actions in inspiring others.
