Ann Flipse Gerber Memorial to Mildred Trotter, 1991
On October 9, 1991 a memorial service for Mildred Trotter was held at Washington University’s Graham Chapel. Trotter, professor emeritus and lecturer, Department of Anatomy of the Washington University School of Medicine, was one of the nation’s foremost physical anthropologists and a distinguished anatomist. She was associated with the University for her entire 71-year professional career – during that period she trained almost 4,000 students in human anatomy.
Dr. Ann Flipse Gerber, a former student of Trotter and 1959 graduate, gave this eulogy.
