About the Exhibit

“Compounding Potential – A History of the Neurosciences at WashU” gives a brief overview of neuroscience research at Washington University. With over a century of pioneering work it is not possible to cover all the remarkable people and achievements in neurosciences at WashU. This exhibit highlights only some past and current examples of this exceptionally collaborative work.

“Compounding Potential – A History of the Neurosciences at WashU” was a physical exhibit originally displayed in the Drs. Helen H. and Robert J. Glaser History of Medicine Gallery on the 7th floor of the Bernard Becker Medical Library from February 2026 through June 2026. It was curated by Philip Skroska with original graphic design work by Dana Lechtenberg. This digital exhibit was created by Philip Skroska in March 2026.
