- A photograph of Dr. Michel Ter-Pogossian (center), head of the Division of Radiation Sciences, conversing with Dr I.A. Pirogov (left) and Dr. Ekaterina Kisileva (right), both of the Herzen Oncological Institute in Moscow, from an issue of Outlook Magazine (Winter 1973). The Soviet scientists visited the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) in November 1972 as part of a National Cancer Institute exchange program. Ter-Pogossian also served as an interpreter during their visit to MIR.
