Base Hospital 21 members, Rouen, France
Base Hospital 21 was originally staffed to manage a 500-bed hospital. It was evident upon taking over the 1,350-bed British No. 12 General Hospital in June 1917 that reinforcements were needed. An additional 9 officers, 29 nurses, and 47 enlisted men joined the unit in France in November 1917.
