| The Grand Hotel, a hot water spa resort, in Bou Hanifia, Algeria. The 21st General Hospital was stationed in Bou Hanifia from December 1942 to November 1943. The Grand Hotel and several other smaller hotels and buildings in Bou Hanifia were requisitioned by the Army unit to build the first American general hospital in North Africa during the war. | |
