Grace Richards Jones (1860-1950)
Grace Richards Jones (Mrs. Robert McKittrick Jones) served as the 3rd president of the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Board of Managers. During Jones’ presidency, from 1907-1925, the hospital affiliated with the Washington University School of Medicine, constructed a modern 125-bed hospital, and established one of the first Social Service Departments in the United States. The Hospital also affiliated with the Martha Parsons Free Hospital and opened Ridge Farm, a country department for convalescent children in Valley Park, Missouri.
